HAMKO Group began its journey in 1978 with the establishment of Abdullah Battery Company (Pvt.) Limited (ABCO). Starting from southern Bangladesh, the company initially focused on producing high-quality batteries and accumulators for the local market.

As the business grew, HAMKO diversified into multiple industries to meet the evolving needs of consumers. The establishment of HAMKO Corporation Ltd. strengthened the group’s marketing and distribution capabilities, enabling nationwide expansion through branches, dealers, and retail networks.
